Awards & Recognition
Despite deriving from a small area, our ambition has served us well. Below is a list of the awards we've received from our success with the Muddy Boots Outdoor Learning Centre.
September 29, 2019
We received our official Wetland Centre of Excellence designation from Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC). To commemorate this day, local students also constructed four DUC nesting boxes which were secured to metal poles at four locations on site.

Wetland Centre of Excellence
October 12, 2019
We received the "Award for Stewardship in Environmental Excellence" in the Outdoor Educator distinction at the Eco Hero Awards Gala hosted by the Conservation Council of New Brunswick. This award recognized Muddy Boot OLC's wooded wetland re-naturalization model.
